Only met him briefly once but I was genuinely sad when I read the news. Condolences to his family and close friends

Terrible news. I had never really considered him until his Carpcast interview a couple of years ago, within which he came across as a very likeable guy. Poor chap, I'm sure he will be greatly missed and yet fondly remembered.

Truly sad news, one of carp fishing's good guys. His positive attitude despite the s*** cards he was dealt was inspirational

Awful news. A great loss, a likeable and great role model of a guy.
