Tbh I only used shelfies now due to lack of freeze space mainly, rate the krill really highly as a bait and a range, certainly the best shelfie I have used so far

Shelf life boillies have been around for a number of years now though, surely any problems with them would have reared theiir ugly heads by now surely?

Yep they are. I've got frozen S7 and shelf life SLK, and there's no noticeable difference in firmness.

Either Jason Riders A Baits of Baitworks shelf life range

I prefer the Royal Marine and Atlantic Heat in shelf life over frozen as they are a bit firmer.

I watched a small video of a lake that had been drained on the RH waters and 100s of shelf life boilies scattered the bottom, they reckon some of them had been on the bottom for a very long time and had turned rancid

B5 for me too. They are quite hard, but I have caught well on them from different waters. Unfortunately you have to buy rather large quantities to get a decent price.

In the past few years the only shelf life boilies I have used have been Rod Hutchinson Monster Crab and KMG. I have had some very good fish from the reservoir on them.

The KMG is a long term food bait, not just an attractor package.
