Seen a few have turned up battered. Looks like Calm Productions sent the books out in jiffy bags, which therefore no protection on the edges or corners. Just more evidence that the company are total rubbish.

yes mines damaged, looks like it has been dropped on its side and dented the hard cover front and back.was wrapped in bubble wrap then put inside a plastic bag. looked like it had been wrapped by a 3 year old..

Just gets better and better this, glad I couldn't order, they didn't reply to my e-mail so I thought stuff them

mines turned up today,not signed but in perfect condition.
Still not got mine. Had a note to say a parcel was in the red bin and got excited. Turned out to be the missus boots order

Same with mine. Clearly been dropped on it's edge with the corners having been crushed. Almost certainly down to the poor packaging. That said, got the book and it does not change how it reads, so not too unhappy

In a hundred years time the fact that the corners are bent over will probably make them priceless.

My 2 copies arrived today....both signed....one is going straight on E-Bay....

I've had books from them in the past with the corners bashed in. They'll pack it and send it to you in the cheapest way possible.

I did say not too unhappy as book will read the same. That said if I pay for any goods that arrive in poor condition I will be unhappy. The author in this case is completely irrelevant as I buy books to read, not for resale value but getting a brand new book in slightly damaged condition is a bit frustrating

you have received 2 signed copies? So much for their "even if you buy multiple copies you will only receive one signed copy" policy. Just received 8 emails ( for 1 order ) that my 2 books have been shipped, no tracking information whatsoever and they have to make it to the Netherlands, hope they invested in some cardboard packaging for the international orders. Never had issues with them in the past, but this release has been handled very poorly.

Sell on eBay
Keep a pristine copy for the collection. Know a couple of people that buy 2 copies of a book, one to read and one to go into the collection and I don't think this is to uncommon either 😂
