I'd be crying too after this. Can't believe they have gone this far with such a flawed product. A total disaster imo. Doesn't matter which carp tigers want to buy the product if there's nowhere to use it.

Have watched all the current 'takes' vids and in no instance have the arms released? Has the finished product negated this aspect perhaps? Being honest I'm going to buy a set out of curiosity and make my judgement then - and being honest I expect many of the auto-haters on here will also be doing so!

He just went live on facebook to address concerns. One of which was the arms snagging in the net or weed. He said if the pressure is so great the arms will snap. He tried to demonstrate it and it just bent back and didnt snap. Whoops.

Lol just watched it he couldnt snap them for love or money ha.
What I would say though is why was the arms not reversed ie pointing towards lead not hook. This way the arms are spread agains the flow of travel reeling in a fish making it far less likely to get snagged

you're right its a complete car crash... i suppose its got people talking about it but im not sure any publicity is good publicity in this case. personally i'm looking for ways to reduce the amount of plastic i use in my fishing

Any publicity is good publicity in most companies eyes, but this will be bad for his PR tbh, continually bigging this up, then totally destroyed by social media who immense see the immediate flaws he tried to disguise or ignore

the whole start of the live was basically saying that if this causes any damage it's the anglers fault for not unhooking a fish in the net instantly. He mentions no more risk than lead clips, hook and anti-tangle sleeves, three components he's also using on his set up.
Be interesting to get it in the hands of people that can test this stuff independently.

If I was a fishery owner what incentive is there for me to allow it ?
The stock is their most valuable asset and this increases risk of issues. Even a blind man can see it getting snagged in the net and ripping mouths as well snagging in weed etc...
No point him having a go at fishery owners they don't owe him anything.
