They sent me a message when my reels came back from servicing in Feb 26 saying they were ceasing trading. 1 of my reels failed 1st time out after being returned, not happy!

Shame, they have done some cracking work for me in the past. I don't think there is anywhere else in the Birmingham/ Wolverhampton area for reel service or repair.

Think there may be a place in Cannock? Ask Braders, I'm sure he's used them.

LOL, I need a line clip replacing on a Tournie spool. Ive got all the bits, but blow me, i cant fit them. I've been crawling round on the floor picking up the spring that many times.

I've tied cotton around the spring to compress it while I get the cir clip on , makes a fiddly job a bit easier

I held the clip in place with sticky tape on the outside of the spool. Then stick the spool to kitchen counter with sticky tape, this gives you 2 handed access to do the job. A couple of micro screwdrivers (flat bladed) like you would use to fix spectacles and you can hold the circlip in place with one and push it home with the other. I tried and failed 3 times, before I came up with this method.

It's a lot of fun isn't it
I just did 6 Infinities, must have the knack of it now, only 1 proved awkward. Seen a few posts on the forum, making own tools like a fork from bits of plastic to tying the spring closed with cotton, then cutting when clip fitted behind.
I'd recommend working in a large box to stop the spring from launching

Is there any other companies that do full reel customisation and repainting?
The line clips I had fitted on some Infinity's were shocking. I had to get the Custom Reel King self fit versions instead.

You're not wrong. I've settled on the Weston line clips as they don't interfere with the line guard, used to drive me nuts winding and hearing the clicking!

I was looking too as not far from me! Had a Weston clip ping off in the drink! Will order from Weston and refit.
