Apparently there's a vid doing the rounds on Social media. Filmed by an Angler. Showing the aftermath of his swim after being attacked by said angler.. Apparently from what I've heard Simon can be a bit Firey. But attacking a fella angler on the bank..33 Always two sides to a story mind.. its Fishing for ****s sake..

Apparently the fella made a few comments on Crowys YouTube channel about the strokes he was pulling on the water they were fishing. Crowy obviously didn't agree with them..

That's crazy. But like what has been said earlier there are always two sides to a story. Everyone has their breaking point. Not a good advert for the younger kids thinking that violence on the bank is an acceptable practice. We go fishing to escape that kind of mentality. I don't know Simon but I bet he's regretting that decision now, seeing he earns an income from fishing, not a good look for his sponsors.
The guy should have probably said any issues he had to his face perhaps, rather than on the internet. A lot of successful anglers are stroke pullers, no doubt.

That's terrible to read Andy,
I don't care if there are 2 sides to this, or that there may be other things we don't know about.
He should be banned from every fishery in the country and his sposorship dropped That should only be changed once he can prove he's addressed his anger issues, just imagine if the angler on the receiving end had had a heart attack.
If he can't handle the social media comments he shouldn't put himself in that position, his sponsors shouldn't put him in that social position, again, imagine him lamping someone at the big one for saying something, honestly did he expect anything less in todays society.
And if it's because he's been outed for breaking rules...well what a great ambassador for the sport he is.
EDIT, and yes I might be a bit old fashioned in my views but only by acceptance can this ever be considered o.k, and it's not, end of.
