Fairly new alarm on the market but wondering if anyone here has had any experience with these alarms? They look solid, watertight and decent features... interested in hearing any user reviews...

Not for me.
The use of a phone sounds too gadgetty for me.
Pricing sounds ok though

Dropback indication handy for pike and Zander fishing..
IP66 pretty good, not many alarms have / meet IP6x
Though are fox mini micron x better value ?

These alarms you need to charge right?
Oooh boy, what would I hate the battery running out during a session and not be able to swap batteries.
I know there are charging options, but this isn't instant

Not my cup of tea, but a guy on my lake has a set, and a Rippton bait boat. He seems happy with them. If I see him tomorrow I'll ask if he has found any shortcomings and get back to you.

I agree I personally prefer batteries in everything recharging takes to long easier to put in new batteries i have a rechargeable head light wouldn't buy again

Those sorts of alarms are the future afaic. Who in this day and age doesn't take a mobile, and if it can act as a receiver why would you want a alarm specific receiver 
Call me a cynic, but from the pov of alarm apps there's money to be made there too, selling your data, selling media driven tones, updates, etc etc.
I'm not saying it's for me, but all the established companies sitting on their laurels better watch out, brand loyalty is a fickle thing!

If that's the future then I'm happy to live in the past
Too many people drawn into angling for the wrong reasons which is high tech and gizmos rather casting a line and enjoying nature.
Yes I do use alarms but that's where the tech stops for me.

I'm similar ,in fact this is me say last year or so,90 % full on carper ...now this year 50 % full on carper ,now enjoying watching a float ,swingtip, stalking etc..proper angling..
Reason is carping has gone up its own backside, its now far to expensive, its just not worth the money anymore..
The tech involved ,distances the real objective of angling.,man v fish and nature..bite alarms is a far as I will ,have gone as regards tech ...

Maybe a sweeping generalisation but from what I see, angling nowadays with static carping is just something else done while on the bank, a lot don't even look up from their phone to take in the environment, which is fair enough, if thats their thing.
I'm not sure I'd restrict myself to a phone app myself but I might be swayed, always open to change, but not change for change sake.

Vossy,me and the wife went up farm shop.for a nice breakfast ..
In came small family ,parents around 30 yrs old ..and two kids .When they sat down ,all four of them got out phones and didn't converse ..

Technology is a good thing I'd say if it can keep the younger generation interested after all they are the future. Of course you'll get good and bad.
I looked at license sales which shows over the last 20 years sales had been declining over the decades John Wilson, a passion for angling, Matt Hayes, Jeremy Wade, Robson Green and many more tv shows kept up the national interest . Then along came Covid and folk discovered they good get out by sleeping in a green tent by a lake which gave the sport a good boost though the last two seasons have been the worst, as folk have lost interest.

If technology is what is needed to attract the younger generation then I say that'a bad thing.
The last thing we need is the younger generation to be attracted because of high tech and gizmos
In my opinion we need them attracted for the nature side of fishing and to leave their tech at home along with their Tik Tok, X boxes, Playstations and whatever they get up to.
