some will have already listened , but if you want a right laugh , thinking tackle podcast number 20 with pete regan.....listened under my brolly Friday night and I recon the bloke next door thought I was mad , laugh out loud funny.....thank me later

Probably Joe Rogan when Joey Diaz is on.
One of the best ones Rogan did was with the guy talking about fungus. Man, that like blew my mind.

It was superb.
Both the thinking tackle and the baitworks podcasts are brilliant.
I do like the spodcast and dna ones but find them too short.

Been listening to Rogan since 2012. I find the Diaz ones the most repetitive these days, with an occasional laugh out loud moment. Things will change drastically when he switches to Spotify in September!
As for angling podcasts, the Korda one tops the lot by a country mile. The Clossick one was alright prior to it turning into a subscription (worst thing they could have done). The audio with the some of the guests was unbearable at times.

How did you find the paid for version of the Carpcast, I subscribed for the shear fact I was doing a lot of driving and enjoyed podcasts but found the free version was better than the paid.

I co-host one that needs a LOT of work but I'm very open to suggestions.
Podcasting is harder than you think when you're being yourself and aiming for a relaxed/natural feel.
Context is key. Things that are said can come across VERY different from what they are intended.
Open to suggestions from you all
That being said, purely doing it for fun, would love to entertain you all as much as possible but wouldn't change our ethos for the world

I really enjoyed the carp cast one - I quite enjoyed the rants from JC even though I can see why it might annoy people. I like the Korda one - very professional and some great interviews, interesting guests and the Pete Regan one was funny as anything. The baitworks one I enjoyed to begin with but now I just listen to the interview bit rather than the rambling that precedes the interview - a bit too formulaic for my liking. The spodcast can be ok but they tend to interview those who fish linear waters a lot which is as far removed from my type of carp fishing experience as you can get. Sam's podcast I find interesting - probably because it's just 2 regular guys chatting carp which is what we all tend to do and the fact that there is a Cornish element to it which makes it more relevant to me. The interviews with Briggs and Harrison were a real coup and I enjoyed them both. The ‘secret squirrel' bait chat makes me smile and serves as a reminder that not everyone has to give away their edges - although I guess this will irritate those who want to be given a recipe on a plate....

They all have something to offer and I'd rather listen to these podcasts than tune into the many nonsense radio stations that seem to exist now. Have to Say you two seem to well spoken to be Carp Anglers..
Especially loving the bait chat. ( no one talks about bait much these days) like the old skool attitude on bait ( Tell'em nothing ). But I think hosting a podcast your going to have to be a bit more open.

You'd be shocked at how many messages we get on Instagram complaining that we aren't revealing everything on bait and venues!
To be honest I can see why it would annoy people, perhaps I need to learn not to mention things in the first place
