Some items are perhaps assembled in the UK... with the components being made in China.
I worked for a company that offered a bespoke made to measure service... all the components were from china.

Yes this subject has been done to death.
There are many 'uk manufacturers' whom get materials, PCBs etc from China as it's the most cost effective way. If British companies could not go to China all you would do is put them out of business and British jobs would be lost.
It really is simple economics, mods please lock this thread.
