Not sure if the lighter is for your stove but if so have a look at the Soto Pocket Torch.
The extending nozzle means burning your hands on flare ups is virtually a thing of the past

God no - these are previous presents or stuff I would want, I have quite a few of the bits across 30 years of being with the vindictive, petty, moaning bag of fun...

Just thought if anyone was struggling there's some overpriced but nice toys amongst them, and if anyone has anything to add

I read that thinking you had been having the same Christmas list writing lessons as my son.

My chrismtas present to myself this year is the Deeper Chirp+2 Long Range bundle. £299 from AD. Am fishing a very weedy lake in France next May so this will be spot on for me. Got the bait boat mount as well as will be going for the Stealth approach.

Trakker Power Flo tap thingy (last xmas). . . would never have lowered myself to buy one but they are a game changer!

Also - Ridgemonkey 2.5l water bottle - nice and compact; perfect for 24hrs / Days T making etc

It's funny, the wife always asks and I genuinely struggle to think of things....then a week later something arrives in the post I've ordered and she's not best pleased.

Last year I appeased her, Summit distance sticks, still not used them, not even a useful paperweight, might be going on Ebay!

ha yes, the jag weighbar, was just showing someone mine the other day...




Also started looking at dobbins bobbins on facebook and that could get expensive.

The jag (or any amazon generic) gas bottle transferring device is decent as well... that's on my list for this year. As are fur lined vass type crocs.

Jag Weigh bar / high toppers / camera self take kit / storm poles are ALL items of desire that I don't need but would happily accept as gifts . . .in fact most Jag stuff full stop

I'm still thinking of a desire list, might as well put that Jag weigh bar on it, though nowadays when I use a weighbar the needle looks like a richter* counter in a curry house

Hmm, maybe the Solar Universal Pod, or a Power conversion for the barrow.

I suppose realistically a new chair would be nice, the foam in the head rest on mine has disintegrated with age/uv, to be fair it is over 20 years old.

A comfy reclining chair is a mist have imo...I bought a new one thinking oh that'll help my back...nope I need a recliner so swapped it with my mate for his old stealth recliner...much better.

I'm going to have to get one of those weigh bars now. 🤣

Yep, I want the old serated wheel type adjuster recliner, none of this arm rest controlled nonsense, in fact preferably no arms. Only one I like the look of is the Fox high back but why it's 45cm high to the seat god only knows. My thoughts have wondered back to the Preston feeder chair..and whether the Fox seat frame will fit on the preston chassis... hmm.

My list is quite short, but quite spenny

A pair or Rayban or Maui Jim Polaroids
An invite onto a decent lake

Oh and waterproof socks (and goretex trainers/boots) don't keep feet warm or dry because they keep as much juice in as they do out so feet still end up wet and cold. Better to get good breathable ones and carry spares

I have been hinting at my misses to get me something from dobbins bobbins but she is having none of it lol

I have brand new pairs from both companies and Oakley but can't use them anymore as I need prescription glasses now.
They are worth the money.

I love my Maui Jim's, can definitely the difference If you switch between a cheap pair and those...albeit not sure it's worth £200 more 🤣
