Evening gents, a little shameless self promotion. I have a small youtube chanel where I follow progress of a drag car im building. However ive jist done a video that included some fishing content, it covers me targeting a very large common .
Now I don't like fishing vlogs generally. I think anyone who vlogs their fishing sessions Is a bit of a self absorbed whopper. So I fully understand you not wanting to watch. However with me doing very little work on my car due to fishing, I needed some content to upload to keep the algorithm happy.
I don't plan on uploadimg much fishing content in the future, but this is a bit of a test.

I think its nice that people video their hobby's, I am sure the chop shop will put a smile on your face when you have finished the rebuild in a few years time, great memories, same with the fishing
I suppose ultimately it's where you post it, some will like it some will not. This is just a positive from me after seeing a few blogs, how you present yourself is everything for me. I think anybody giving it the “big I am” will not last long, something interesting that captivates people is the way forward, it's the difference between turning it off after a few minutes or looking forward to the next video for me.

Cheers. Yeah, I like making videos, tbh. I'm not overly fussed if people enjoy them that much. I like that 6 people from thos page have taken the time to click the link and dislike the video though. Dislikes are actually good for pushing content out.
I would never film a blog. But I do like the idea of filming an entire season, or a "campaign" and editing it down to a short 20 minute or so video. I don't like vlogs, because inevitably it's just what they ate for dinner and where they parked the van.
I like the idea of making a video that a none angler could enjoy, something that tells a bit of a story.

Unfortunately my hobby car days (air cooled VWs and Porsche) fell by the wayside some years ago (as did carping for a while), but it's great when it all comes together.

Thank you for the kind words gents. I certainly won't go out of my way to create any fishing Content again. But I will probably do a bit of filming this spring, and then use the footage or not, depending on if anything interesting happens. I'm not even sure where I'll be fishing, too many options I can't narrow down

Sorry Leroy but as everyone is mentioning the Mullet. I should add that the last time I sore a hairstyle like that was as picture on me barbers wall as a kid..you wear it well though..
