I need some 12" bivvy pegs. Is there anyone out there, perhaps in the trade, who can justify to me why I can buy 12 from NGT for £9, when Trakker want £ 11.99 for 4?
I shan't be buying the Trakker ones. Edit. The NGT pegs turned up today, Quality is every bit as good as the Trakker ones I have.

Companies will charge whatever they can get away with till folk stop buying them.
I have pegs from ngt, tracker, Nash they are all the same imho.

Probably because of the name?
NGT are more known as budget company and no self respecting tackle tart would want to own NGT.
You would think who would get on their hands knees to see what was stamped on a peg, probably no one but that's how tarts think, they'd worry that someone might and the worry of being ridiculed would be too much, better to have Trakker pegs and tell every passer by

I would say there's no point buying fishing branded but each to their own if it makes you happy
Heavy duty pegs are far cheaper none branded and are just as good.
I have some yellow T headed pegs I bought for my original Fox Eurodome.....that probably makes them near 25 years old, still going strong.

Go even cheaper and pop to a camping shop Go Outdoors/Millets and but pegs.
I just bought some glow in the dark pegs, 20 for £11 delivered which will cover my Bivvy and Brolly.

I've got a few NGT items (their neoprene tip tops are particularly good and arguably better than most others) but have admittedly unstitched the logos because I'm sad and insecure even at 50+ yrs old . . .

Agree, it's predominantly a market saturated with cheap ****, buy in and sell on, after big profits, if it's sells it sells otherwise it's in the “sale” and the next big thing comes along. Aka a mugs game

Theres no difference in quality i have both and never bent either even in rock hard ground. Trakker just take your pants down.

I had the previous version, V2 Tail top bed complete system cost me €680 (I did get a 20% discount) don't see the problem with paying a high price for quality if you have the money, if you don't have the money then look further much cheaper options available
