Anything from Hinders has done me well.
They certainly make some good bait

I read somewhere that Hinders had acquired the original richworth tutti-frutti recipe.
it was a brilliant bait back in the day. anyone confirm this or still use it.

I think this was discussed at length a while ago, possibly worth a search
Similar, but different was the conclusion

They have.
only the shelf life recipe though
Stabilised Boilies - More Bites, More Fish, More Often
Stabilised boilies have the same nutritional profile as frozen bait, but don't require freezing. They're also softer than traditional readymade boilies, which allows water to penetrate them more quickly - making them more attractive to fish and therefore more productive when you want bites more quickly.
Stabilised Boilies
12mm or 15mm
1kg or 5kg
Pop Ups and Dumbell Wafters also available

Won't contain Pruteen and wont turn like the original freezer baits so I wouldn't bother with them. Don't understand how they could be presented as the same bait?

But that could be said of most baits couldn't it? Scopex squid won't be the exact same recipe.... Now will any bait that's older than 10 years I'd imagine.

Original Tuttis weren't even available in shelf life were they? There is slightly different due to a obsolete ingredient and completely different bait.
I do agree it's not just Hinders trying to con people, most of the bait business is smoke and mirrors.

I've been using the Tutti with the matching pellet since September and going by the less than warm reception I've received from the regulars after a few daytime fish i think it's working well.

They do the tutties in freezer bait too if you check on the website, they do a 5kg deal with pop ups and glug for £40 delivered on all ranges which is great value, the c-food catches a lot of good fish. I've used hinders for particles for years, but recently bought some of the new nut bait to try, first impressions are good, it's really soft and crumbly like the freezer bait I use, tastes and smells amazing too, just need the lakes to defrost then I can get out and use it 😂 Keith certainly has a good reputation so don't think they would churn out any old rubbish.

In what way? Obviously the whole Pruteen content is a big thing but other than that how are they so different?
Incidentally you can still order frozen tutti's direct from Richworth...

This is all from memory... The original tutti baits were just one of a range all made on a 50/50 base mix, back then it was 50% protein 50% carbohydrates the protein came from putreen and I don't think we can underestimate the importance of the putreen.
Notwithstanding that there is no doubt in my mind that the tutti flavour also had a big part to play because while all the range had good reviews the tutti was the consistent stand out performer.
If you can get hold of a good tutti flavour it is still a fantastic attractor, for long term use it needs to be in a decent base mix. Beware not all flavours labelled as tutti frutti are the same, I can personally recommend the one from biologic baits, 2ml per kilo is all you need in your feed baits it is really strong.

Incidentally you can still order frozen tutti's direct from Richworth..
Or it's new owner Mistral baits
Richworth, also stopped selling the Tutti liquid flavour, I bought one of the last bottles myself ages ago.
The old Tuttis, the esters in the flavour, the Pruteen/ yeast / CSL fermentation effect and its sweet taste all add up to a special classic.
Different nowadays, as the baits no longer contain Semolina, or Pruteen

You are correct. Any bait sold as tuttis will not be the same. They may still be good baits, if the flavour is on a good base mix. They will not be the same as the richworth originals. Which went sweaty and sticky which is when they were at their best.

I was sent a sample of the Hinders nut bait recently, seemed OK, but wouldn't persuade me to change from Oxford carp baits Mc nut which is excellent and has caught loads of fish including the Burfield common !

See the other replies. If you've been around as long as me and used as much of the stuff as I did back in the day you'd know the new stuff is not a patch on the original bait.

I don't know much about the Hinders Tutti's, but I can say that their Beta'nana stabilised boilies have be proving quite effective here in south Louisiana since I started using them recently.
Probably the best response to a winter bait that I have experienced in quite a while.....

Richworth still sell their Tutti flavouring if you contact them direct. 250ml minimum and £24.99 plus £8 postage. Whether it is the 'original' is anyone's guess...

Alan Parbury must have changed his mind then, as I bought the last 500ml bottle, and said that they were not selling the tutti flavour/s anymore.
Result for home rollers if it is still available

Too good a classic flavour to not sell to the public

Agreed....although taking a punt at a 250ml bottle for £33 only to find out its not the original isn't something I've done just yet!

Wow I did not know Mistral Baits were still going or Richworth. Remember the Rosehip Isotonic being used a lot locally.

So if I wanted some Tutti pop ups do you think I should get them from Richworth or Hinders?

Wasnt it the double strength that they stopped selling?
I bought 2x 500ml bottles when they "stopped" selling them a few years ago as well. I thought it was double strength

No at the time - July 2020 it wasn't the double strength, but their liquid flavours in general.
Wasn't much demand apparently.
However, since the Covid pandemic and cost of living crisis... maybe the home rolling demand has increased

Pruteen was discontinued in the late 80's, and yet the Richworth frozen Tuttis continued to be an awesome bait, they must have sourced a suitable replacement.

Icing sugar in the frozen bait wasn't it that gave them that sticky a boozy smell if aloud to sweat in the bag once defrosted for a few days?
Not speaking from experience but apparently the Dartford Tackle box own brand Toots rolled by Kenny Gates Asylum baits do exactly the same apparently?
The combination of that flavour and the sugars starting to ferment where the main reason they were so effective.
