Plenty of people buy from them, no idea why you and your mates have such a bee in your bonnet, I spoke to the factory manager again today IF there had been any issues ( which I think a lot of what gets out on here is ******** ) then they'd have replaced the order very quickly.

You will defend them at every opportunity mozzie but obviously have never used them as a paying customer. Put it this way from my experience as a paying customer the bait was absolute ***** and the results followed suit. I personally would avoid at all costs.

I just think you're lying is all, you always took issue with me, saw I spoke highly of them so chose to speak negatively for a response?

I've seen every bait they make in freezer and shelf life as it gets used on a syndicate in on. The lads do well on it, and your issue must of been a freak batch as I've not seen stuff than crumbles to dust. Their shelf life where a bit drier but every bit useable lol

What would I gain from lying about said bait mozzie?. I don't make a living from the industry so it has zero benefits for me to do so?. I certainly have no issue with you personally at all?. Your obviously a very knowledgeable bloke when it comes to bait. Our views on certain companies obviously differ that doesn't mean I have took issue with you.

You've been pretty confrontational in past posts but if that's wrong on my end of interpretation happy to hear it.

I also have no skin in the game with mad baits, it doesn't benefit me to exalt another companies products at all in anything I should say “oh no poor you look at my shiney baits” but o genuinely have a lot of respect for the firm. If he's turned round and admitted to day butts in the baits as was put in another thread etc I'd of been the first to say so.

Mozzie, the problem is that unfortunately no one cares or believe what you put on here. You hide behind a misty fscade and write lies about other peoples bait and companies both publically and by pm.

Your opinion has zero legitimacy with anyone whereas there seem to be a lot of people who have a very poor view of mad baits. Some may be lies but i very much doubt all of them will be

I found the asbo to be an ok bait but it was very inconsistent in texture (everything feom powder to marbles). They roll for others and do a good job so it is their actual bait, not their equipment that isnt great

I also know a few people that are 'sponsored' by them. One has just jacked them in, the other two are happy with their bait

wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

Know a guy that uses them. He baited up a margin spot with the white ones and a load of particle, overnight the particle went and no boilies were touched. Not uncommon as the fish seemed to ignore them at times. Two weeks later we netted out the boilies from the spot, still intact. Shocking really imo. Both that the fish wouldn't touch them after that length of time and the fact they didn't break down at all.

I won some in a raffle a while ago, the asbo. Opened the bag, crumbed a few up in my hands to see what it's like and sold the lot of it as soon as I could. Again it was shelf life but it was like sawdust but tough to break the boilies up initially.

My personal experiences with the shelflife baits but I'd advise people to steer clear.

It seems suspicious that literally most of the negative reviews about it revolve around people that constantly s****** about me 😂 I'd misunderstood jimbo and tried to take responsibility for that, however you've chosen to wake up and Stoke something.

Haha i love that you actually believe what you write

You clearly have some bait knowledge but everytime i and most others call you out on stuff it is directly in relation to the unsolicited knocking of others

I and several others have found mad baits to be lacking. Nothing that you or your mysterious ties and invisible company can say will make anyone think otherwise

I've had a load of chops from them for baiting the river and on closer inspection found loads of black rubber in the baits. I've currently got a bucket of their freezer bait in my garage that hasn't been touched since November last year and there's not a spot of mould on them. Initially I forgot I hadn't put them back in the freezer but now it's a experiment to see just how long they'll last.

I have no ties to them, I took some advice from the manager there about a machine, which seems sensible as there bait is very round and roll so much of it, if that means I have ties, then dozens and dozens of people on here have ties to me because I get inboxes to review peoples recipes / about hydros / basemix ingredients etc?

Just because it disrupts a narrative being told, doesn't make it untrue.

Again, find the lie or stop calling people liars. It's a bit rich.

I don't understand the bad comments regarding Mad Baits, as I have full confidence in them.
This will be my third year on the Asbo, and have never been so confident in a bait since my Active 8 days, and Premier Aminos before that.

I also have had success barbel fishing with their Pandemic paste and boilies.

Sorry, but there's nothing you can say that'll convince me to switch to another bait.
Price and delivery is also good

I get speaking to people, I know what proper bait knowledge is and they have it in bundles, their rolling standard is of course indicative of quality control, something across all aspects of their production.

They have open days with raffles, and an open door policy, I can't name another company that regularly does than and doesn't hide ingredients labels etc.

Anyway I'm bored now, have fun knocking one of the most professional outfits going 😂

I do not pay to advertise on this forum and never have. I have sorted the owner and some moderators out some hook baits previously who wanted them, as an act of good faith, because I sell a lot of products to members of this forum now.

I have never asked for anything in return. I have never made a single thread on this forum about my work. My customers have.

***I consider specialised to be one of the very few baits out there that warrants the price per pot on a labour basis. As everything is palm rolled which is an absolute ball ache. I hope he won't mind me surmising he probably couldn't do 500 pots a day without his arms falling off, this it's a limited availability labour intense product.

With the air ball mixes, with maybe two exceptions it's literally a case of mixing powder with liquid and putting it through a table / machine. Which ever way you swing the cat it's not the same labour cost. ***

I hope that clears it up, although not strictly pertinent to the thread.

I had no clue who he was referring too, and to be honest I don't want to be talking about things like this on here.

But that is why I had to write that post on a thread about another bait firm, to make it clear that he is not talking about me. I actually thought he was for that exact reason you mention. As far as I know I am the only strictly 'hook bait' bod on here. So I had to make it clear it's not me.

Why is a mad baits thread turning in to the mozzi show?

Everyone's got their own opinions based on their personal experience. Some good and some bad. No one can be told their opinion based on their own experience is incorrect by someone they don't know. A small handful of people on the forum have shared their experiences with Mad and the negative currently outweighs the positive. It's a very small sample size to draw any conclusions from.

Imo it's a bit “mad” to be telling people that their own experiences are outright wrong and incorrect and everyone should believe something that is the opposite of their personal experiences.

Why is every single thread on bait turning out like this?

I'm glad I missed all of this yesterday. So completely pointless. I don't even care what he was spouting anymore, it would only be the same craziness as previously, over and over again.

Just got sick and tired of having to come on here recently and defend myself constantly from a one man attack, that has gone on for nearly three years now.

I was warned by the forum owner a good while ago, that him and his enzyme friends were actively trying to get me banned behind the scenes for numerous reasons. That was being played out on the public forum with him trying to get a 'bite' from me on a daily basis.

Despite giving stuff to the forum owner and some MOD's... I've never once asked for the bloke to banned or even any help... Because I'm not a snide little grass like them. I'm glad someone has finally put an end to this.

Apart from his issues with Mark ( which I'm not defending or condemning as I don't know everything ) he was a decent and knowledgable bait guy. Consulted for many other companies as well as starting his own before others ruined it.

He has inputted a lot of helpful info on this forum when he feels qualified to and makes and effort to answer bait related questions ( albeit he used the forum less and less in the penultimate few months).

It's annoying because most the bait brains have left the forum now, so constructive discussion isn't going to thrive which is where I thought this forum used to shine through.

He's gone now, that's that. Let's not make Jokes and just try and have interesting discussions.

I agree.

Does make me wonder if amino acids and enzymes eventually effect peoples brains or subconsciously effects their fingers when typing though

There has been a lot of knowledgeable people come and gone over the years, disappointing really but when both people are right

Talking about enzymes , a mate a few years older than me in the early 80,s cracked me up he would walk around the lake with a bag of bait saying there not enzyme active yet and give them a shake, don't know what the f was going on still don't, can enybody help

You've waited until the main enzyme lads have all gone before asking a question about enzymes?!

No pun intended but I do think bait can send some people a bit mad.

They catch on something, convince themselves they've found the holy grail, when in fact loads of other factors were actually what led to the captures and they become blinkered to them.

I've actually wondered about experimenting. My feed baits probably got twenty ingredients in it, because of the blend of a few different spices and liquids etc, I've considered rolling a bait with only 19 of them, then 18 of them, then 17 of them etc until eventually I end up with a batch of nothing but binders. Then take the whole lot to a piss easy runs water,find the fish and start catching on the full strength mix, then after each fish only use the next mix down the chain, until eventually the runs dry up. I've got a sneaky suspicion that very very many of the ingredients could be dispensed with in the right conditions. I bet I wouldn't be far off the out and out binders only before I struggled.

I'm talking say a four bait stringer with the hookbait of that exact same mix each time so hopefully almost none of the better grade bait would be left in the swim after each fish.

Bait is and always will be a small part of the puzzle. How many people do you hear that go “I changed my hookbait colour and caught” ?? Unless you had a camera down there to see if fish were present and feeding and obviously avoiding the hookbait, not something else on the rig or line lay, etc. and then hand placed a new rig with a new colour and made it sit EXACTLY the same and then rewind the clock and go again so the conditions and time were the exact same, you can never say it was the bait that did it.

I think you're right, you'd get pretty far down the list before bites dried up. I suppose you'd also need to try and go the other way too. How far up do you need to go to get the bites the quickest. That's what you'd really want to know.

I recently bought the 20kg deal in 12mm. Took 5kg of each flavour.

The bait turned up quick, 48 hours after order. The included liquid food was pungent and dissolved well in the water. The pop ups are bouyant and held a Ronnie up for over 24 hours. The wafters were perfectly balanced on a size 6 hook.

All the baits were soft, easy to crumb but solid enough to use in a stick or catapult. They all smell amazing, but the fish meals stuck out, particularly the Asbo. The smell of peperami is immense. They have a decent texture and contain some seeds.

Also got some wicked white pellet. They're mixed size and go well in pva bags. They smell good, pack down well and aren't too dusty.

I've caught on all four flavours - nothing massive. Biggest 20lb 4oz. I've used around a kilo of each bait, so not a long term test.

I'll definitely order again.
