Hello there,
I am on my last bottle of L0 30 TUNA OIL from CCmoores and noticed you can not get it any more. I see Bacarel do TUNA EXTRA THICK liquid 7568. Similar to LO 30.
Is this stuff any good or is there something better on the market.?

It's a good product, use before and after boiling.
Use it at about 20% of the weight of your cracked eggs, this is approx 10ml per egg.
If using for general fishing it's also very good, brilliant for washing baits out, in a 20% solution again but this time with water.
It takes a bit longer to disperse than other hydros, so bear in mind if dipping hookbaits / mesh bags in it hookbaits won't have the buoyancy you test them at for the first half hour or so and to leave a bit of pva uncovered to hook so it melts first.
Bacarel do lots of decent things, don't ignore any of the marine liquids

Ccmoore is not the same as bacarel. Well unless ccmoore cut it in order to thin in. The one from bacarel is like tar. Proper thick and sticky and almost black in colour.

Once you see the Bacarel stuff you won't miss the thin and watery CC Moore version. CC Moore do some decent stuff but the quality of their liquids is not their strong point in my experience.
It was always misleading of CCM to call it L030T as it's nothing like the original, and unfortunately unavailable original L030.

Better value to get it from bacarel but it soaks into baits better if you mix it with water, I use hemp water
Or if you make your own baits still hot andf wet from cooking will draw it in neat quite well

Bluebeat, I questioned Ian on the same issue ref the name at the time. He went back to Bacarel/Seagarden (can't remember which one now, must have the email somewhere maybe) to check whether this was OK, and he got authority from them (the original was called L030 due to the manufacturing method) to use the name L030 Tuna as the manufacturing process was identical to the original, but just using tuna byproducts.

Interesting. I would say the ingredients in at the beginning and out at the end were more important than the process in between. However, if the name came from the process rather than the ingredients then I guess it's fair enough.

When everybody was using aminol in holland, which afaik is nothing but pd dissolved in mpg or glycerine, i was getting full cans of L Zero from the belgian importer. What an amazing product. Shiny, bit transparent like maple syrup but then thicker. The best liquid ever. The response from cats, birds, flies was something else. If this is only half as good it's on top of my list. Now let's see how much i have to increase my mortage to get it over here:P
