It's no surprise surely,we all knew his gear would not be cheap.He will still sell loads you watch. They are fleece lined and fully waterproof,Sealskinz are similar money

Personally, I think they look pretty decent. Ive paid over £25.00 for plain wooly North Face hats and similar.
Fleece lined and waterproof.... If the quality is right, I don't think there's much to moan about.

If they were £9.99 someone would post saying they should be a fiver AH will have his critics regardless of what he does, he knows that and handles it really well on his social media, tending to engage and be polite with people who slag off his gear rather than just ignoring them.
If the gear is expensive AND sh**, it won't do well. He's obviously going for the mid-higher end of the market (which is better than churning out poor quality garbage IMO) so the stuff needs to be decent if he's going to succeed. And there's no reason why he won't, he might be a polarising character but a lot of people like him and he's already an established name.
A quick google search for ‘beanie hat £24.99' gives loads of results for basic knitted hats at that price.

Good quality you are having a laugh, a cheap and nasty acrylic beanie with a fleece lining. Available at Primark or Asda for £5 without the rubber badge.
A quality beanie for all weathers is pure merino wool and that will cost over £25 for a decent one.

And the rest. My fjallraven merino beanie and its the best hat ive ever owned. Im on the beach twice a day with the dog with howling gales blowing off the north sea and my head has never been cold. Its the only hat that has ever kept my head warm. Ive had rab, montane and north face beanies but none have came close to the fjallraven. You cant beat a bit of merino for warmth.

He does come across as a bit of a creep on his videos with hamidi, he would do my head in after 5 mins. Ive always found ted baker stuff pretty crap as well. Hamidi makes it put to be on par with likes of boss which it certainly isnt, its a bit of a budget brand.

I thought Ted Baker is pretty much just one of those brand names they stick on any old tat and send straight to TK Maxx.
I expected this post to be here, £24.99 doesn't seem overkill for that hat. I wouldn't buy it, I would never buy fishing branded clothing, but I would happily pay a lot more for a quality warm hat.

Even though I wouldnt actually buy this hat because like others I don't see the point in a waterproof beanie for it to run down my back, I don't think £25 for a decent hat isn't that bad. I've spent double this on a Hugo boss beanie, it will always cost more than the other brands with ted baker involved. If people think this is alot I suggest you never shop in flannels you will be paying a lot more than this
I don't think anyone would put a beanie hat on when it's raining heavy enough to drip off onto your face. Doing nights through the winter as soon as the sun goes down everything gets damp. Particularly a woolly hat that's warm from your head. If it has a bit of resistance to the damp then you can give it a wipe and wear it in bed. It's also not damp for the next morning.
There's no chance of me buying this one, but a water resistant woolly hat is not a terrible idea per se.

If the hats any good it's about right for cost as all have previously mentioned a Sealskinz beany will cost around that however £4.99 on 24 hr royal shipping for the sake of a day or so you can get shipping up to 1kg with royal mail on 2-3 days for £2.99 with 96% delivered within 48 hrs.
JUST FOR REFERANCE
I only mention it as some people calculate shipping into overall cost as value for money I'm not overly bothered but a few quid saved by the end user is no bad thing.

Having been watching how this brand is being marketed (Ali in the shower is latest video ) ... Its all starting looking very amateur hour to me and a bit embarrasing ... Its very difficult to take this seriously so far

alot of them will have grown up with him in mags and on tv from when they were small kids no doubt,lads in their early to mid twenties will be proper fan boys, he's very popular and no doubt the brand will do well just from how popular Ali is
