I'm on a budget to get a new bedchair. I don't want to spend anymore then £120 ideally. I've sort of narrowed it down to the Sonik SK Tek bedchair (£99.99) and the Advanta Endurance 6 leg session bedchair (£109.99). What would be the better bedchair to go for and why? Or would you recommend any others for around the same price. Thanks.

Would you consider second hand? You can get some bargains. I recently picked up a Trakker oval bed, with 3 season and 5 season bags and the thermal cover for £123. The bed is in great condition and is incredibly comfortable
Know some people don't like the idea of second hand bags but I just gave them a wash and really it's no different to sleeping in hotel beds

I can recommend the solar bankmaster.I think it's within your budget.
I've never had a top of the line bedchair but this is by far the comfiest one I've ever used. It's fairly heavy but no real issue on a barrow.

JRC Rova bedchair looks good value or the advanta ccx range
although their prices have gone up lol they used to be around the 120 mark 🙁

Whatever one you decide to get, try it out first in a shop. When I bought mine a few years ago, I had my mind on a Sonik one or Avid one. When I tried them out in the shop, they were bloody awful and ended up getting a Trakker one!! With bedchairs, what suits one angler doesn't necessarily suit another.

Spot on. You really can't choose the correct bed for you from other people's recommendations and pictures on the internet. You need to try them yourself

The Sonik I find is decent. I actually bought one last year to replace a Trakker bedchair I just didn't get on with. Well built, comfy enough for me and the added pouches for phones, receivers etc is a nice little touch. It does feel heavier than advertised (not weighed it to verify) and is quite bulky if size and weight are features you are looking at

I don't have a shop near me that has them out on show to be able to try it. That's why I was hoping to go on recommendations..

I understand your pain, and even trying them in the shop doesn't always make it right.
I have a Chub Flatbed that I have grown to hate, yet I tested it out, albeit at a carp show. At the time it was comfortable to lie on, but I didn't make note of how I sleep. Legs have started sliding back in against the ratchet or whatever, and the locks have worked loose or out.
Previously my bedchair choice had been work out my budget, and look at what was out there. Weight was never a consideration. Length, width are far more important. You put your bedchair on a barrow (usually) to get it to your swim, lightweight often means not as strong. I don't want my bedchair giving way.
Since 2005 bedchairs I have had have been a Badger bedchair (actually a damn good product), a Bison Bedchair and the current flatbed.
My advice go with your height for the length, plus a bit, the width you need, and what you can afford, and remember that as good as Nash or Fox beds may be, JRC, Solar, or even Bison may be a better choice

If you can stretch to 140 I had a look at the trakker superlite last week and it's a great bed for the price. The mattress doesn't look like there's much going for it on the picture but it's actually really comfy.

That goes against the modern trend and I can't actually think of a new model that does that. Flat beds with hinges to fold with a bag inside rather than knobs to raise and lower the chair is the typical design now. Probably a few around but I don't think they are common

Nobody does them anymore. You'd be better off getting one of those tablet holders that fix to your bedchair frame

DAM do a reclining one it's called the Camovision 6 leg bedchair in aluminium 👍

A friend of mine picked up a Solar bedchair for £130 which is an absolute bargain and probably rare to come across.
I sold my Avid Benchmark for £100 and the buyer another friend (I pay to have two) of mine after seeing my Solar would sell it on for what he paid for it as he wants the Solar he also has a Nash system and some other bedchair and will move them all on, none the less they are all decent and available second hand around the £100 quid mark.
Second hand fishing gear is half the price and 99% of the time as good as new.

If you still want a reclining bed chair try Googling ‘reclining bed chair'. An NGT comes up with the old style wheel adjustment as still available new. Can't tell you if it's any good.
