I have had my txi's for yonks and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them.... However I have my eye on nevs for a while now!! Purely for a change and I like the look of them.

Keep, I also have had Txi's for what seems forever and I'll not change, been through the wars and still going strong.
I have a similar dilemma with another item, reels I have 3 Daiwa Emblem Z6000 PT which I've had since they first came out but are starting to look a bit tatty and 1 of the anti reverse's as snapped off and I can't decide whether to get a set of Daiwa Infinity X 5000BR

Agree with all the comments... Jb customs do my reels mate, rebuilds service etc.. Can't recommend him highly enough

I'm with the other guys on this one, no comparison, I can't see me ever changing from Delks but at the same time I appreciate you may have an itch that needs to be scratched.
If you can get a second hand set for a cheap price without having to sell the Delks you could give it a go and sell on the ones you don't want anymore.
A lot of hassle I know but at least it wouldn't have cost you much and you would then be happy with your choice. ( For now ) lol

It's nice to see this happens to other people too! I've been considering a set of RX+. No issues with my TXI's, just fancied trying out something else.

Of course i do. They all go bleep. A £500 set of alarms wont catch you no more fish than a £50 set. I spend 99% of my time sat behind silent alarms, so why wouldn't i want ones i like to look at?

They do indeed all go bleep. But in a different way. A vibration sensor is more efficient than a roller wheel. If you know how to use them, they will help put more fish on the bank. Guaranteed.

but I would say your there to catch fish and vibe helps...a lot...especially for Pike, finicky fish and seeing if there's movement in your swim.
Personally I agree with roller wheel only being a step backwards. I changed from old Fox RX (roller and vibe) to the NTXR (no vibe) because I admit I got caught up in the hype...Big mistake.
Then bought some TXI"s which were very good but as I was waiting for a roller/vibe to come out again I bought the RX+ as soon as they came out, I've no regrets and wouldn't go back to Delks.

Really, modern Roller Alarms have come on leaps and bounds in the past few years; if anything vibration sensing is the primitive one now.
I'd never use anything other than Roller Alarms now, I just like the precise, visible movement of Rollers, no guess work involved.
But at the end of the day it's personal preference, and what your happy with

Buy them, scratch the itch, but keep the Delks for at least a season and see which you prefer. If you cant afford the Nev's without selling the Delks, i wouldnt bother
As most of the others have said KEEP THE DELKS!!! although I have considered changing mine, a few times when the Txi plus came out, but never did. I then thought about it when the Digital ones came out, I haven't as yet. let's face it my old original Txi's have done everything I've ever wanted them to do and never let me down once. 
On a similar note, I've still got all my old Shimano reels, I did think of selling some of them a few years back as the ones I use most are my Big Pit Baitrunners, yes they are heavy, I know, but again how can you get rid of something that has always done the job I bought them for, workhorses to the extreme.

I'd never go back to a simple magnetic roller like the Neville. Any weed or undertow and the line creep slowly brings those magnets round through the night with a beep......beep every couple of hours. Not what you want when fishing the night before work. The ATTS I had were a pain even on a small water.
Have to admit I have been tempted by the Nash speed sensing unit. Does that actually work?

I moved over to fox NTXR after having 2 faulty Delkim TXI+ Which were only 16 months old on a French session, it's a shame as I loved the concept of the duocarbs and Delkim after service is brilliant I just lost faith in the alarms.
I'm happy with the Foxs are present but wouldn't hesitant to move back to Delkim

I was in the same boat as you a few years ago but my delks were battered and on the way out. I changed to Nev's... liked them but... the sensitivity you have with delks is on another level & they definitely can give you more info about what's going on in a swim. On one lake I fish(ed), the Delks would give me an early warning of fish in the vicinity. The Nev's never picked up such subtle signs. Not that it mattered i guess, ‘cos in the end they'd both beep and rattle off when one was hooked! I did, however, appreciate those early warning signs... I kept the Nevs, because they look nice, and upgraded to the new Delks a year or so ago. Haven't looked back (and the Nev's haven't been used since) and are as sensitive as the originals, with a few extra tekky bits that are wasted on me. So... my advice.,, if you want to upgrade go for the new Delks or the Fox alarms - if you just need a buzzer to look nice, be simple to use and go beep, then go for the Nevs...

Got my Delkim ST's 20 years ago, still got them, still working, still using them. Only upgrade was an Att receiver and dongles.
Don't change for the sake of change, the vibration sensing is still better than roller wheel technology.

I had a set of MK3 Kudos modified Nev's last year at the same time I owned TXI Pluses and it was the Nev's that I sold on. I've actually just bought the new TXI D's, so if your going to do anything I'd have a look at those, they have no equal IMO.

I've used delkims since the first optonic conversions lol.
Just can't believe they haven't changed the body shape, and extended the ears.
