I'm assuming that it is Amazon who are bank rolling the new series they are filming this year in that case. I do like the pairing of Matt and Mick, a bit like Mortimer and Whitehouse in that they are clearly 2 mates who enjoy fishing but love spending time together

yeah I like that pairing too.
hitman - It's the old series on re-run. still nice to watch. good opportunity to see some different uk waters. low key presenting which is maybe a bit more palatable than the korda bunch
a couple of close to 40lb carp - one off the top and one off the bottom - in episode 1.

Matt is claiming that a new series will be filmed this year though, hence my guessing that Amazon are involved in that project and running the old series. Am looking forward to it if it comes off

I've been wacthing them again, particularly like the Perch fishing on the Trout reservoir, my god what a red letter day that was. Sign of a good programme, you've seen it but enjoy watching it again

Doubt there is much Amazon backing as I see a post the other day where Matt was trying to get sponsorship for a van to film the series, perhaps they're supplying the Bolivian flake.

Thanks, nice to watch these in HD.
This series was a good production, probably his best with wet nets and GREATER rod race
Best one was where he fished the Dove in those freezing conditions; Great photography, really well done.
