Proper Carp Baits Pineapple & N-Butyric Acid pop-ups. They are available in yellow, white and pale pink so you can change colour but keep the same flavour profile.

A decent yellow pineapple can be deadly. None of the commercially available baits tick all of the boxes for me so I make my own using a recipe that Frank Warwick gave me

I like DNA Fluoro PB, only ever used the stick as a topper but I wouldn't hesitate to use the pop up if it's anything like the stick.

I make my own too - not exactly hard, just have to be careful with the Butyric Acid as the stuff fecking stinks! I have to treble bag the dropper bottle just to stop it wreaking. Anyway, pretty simple stuff - pop up mix/dye/1 egg/pineapple flavour/dozen drops of BA... mix - boil 3 mins - airdry 3 days - done. That's about 40 x 16mm popups or 30 x 18mm. I also make them in pink and white. Who says they have to be yellow? The carp don't care. Very effective winter bait for me, I use them as hook baits only. In 18mm on a bid hinge I have caught some very big fish. I don't really go with this small bait size thing for winter at all.
