I've used Rig Marole Hydrolink Extreme to create something similar. Tie a figure 8 loop knot and pass it through the hook multi rig style but pull it right down to the eye. Fold the material by the knot and poke some of the flurocarbon inner out of the braided material and snip it to create a hinge.Thread on your chosen method for attaching a hookbait followed by a hook bead. Steam a c curve in the doubled over section and should be good to go.

I found the easiest way to get a really short section is to join the 2 materials first. Then pull the braided section through the hook until the knot is butted up against the eye and then tie a whipping knot.

Avid Carp announced over the weekend their new retractable rods called React. Two 10ft versions in 3lb and 3.5lb test curve, look very nice with minimalist graphics.

I think it's called a Swimmer rig, if not very similar.

A bloke at work was telling me he had just moved over to Sky Glass and although they upgraded the broadband and router if his kids and the Mrs were all using wifi the tv would struggle to stream and would pause and jitter and then the words were out of sync with the mouths and what they were saying. He's got a grace period and will be ending it.

If you are using a stiff material like Boom or similar I've had no problem crimping the Ronnie clip on. The tungsten sleeve still passes over the crimp and clip.

If you want the equivalent of a 50mm full frame (or there abouts 52.5mm) you will need to get a 35mm for your Sony as it has a 1.5 crop factor.
Likewise if you want full frame 35mm equivalent you would need to get a 24mm lens for your camera.
