Trakker downpoor jacket, it's only very thin though I use it over another jacket or fleece

Have a look at the aqua f12 torrent, light weight and dries fast when wet. Pretty sure the xxl size is a 50" chest.

My Haggloff £400 not a jacket I use for fishing, Paramo £200, Baughaus Lightning (mine lasted 15 years) £190 in 1998 the wychwood is superb due to its cut and the material used. Mine cost me £70

I have a snugpak poncho which is great for showers and does the job well, but if I'm going to be out in it for some time I use the Aqua torrent as mentioned below they do a xxxl so im sure you'll be fine and I have to say its been brilliant I have the jacket and trousers and have been v impressed with it

Got an Aqua jacket for christmas, so far so good, a little bit of zip fiddling, but not too bad, go a size up if you envisage having 2 or 3 layers on under it...

Chunky knit or Normal winter wear and an ocean smok. Weighs 600g folds down to nothing and is 100 percent waterproof! Best thing I have used for the last two winters!

I bought the Vass winter-lined waterproofs (smock and sallopettes) last year. Very impressed with them. I'll be taking a look at their non-winter lined version for summer use.

All ive used for 15 years is a snugpak softie jacket and a army gortex dpm waterproof jacket over the top and ive never once been cold or gotten wet. I wouldnt use anything else. If its really cold i wear some woolpower merino wool thermals underneath.

That's a great combo, I now use an SJ6/SJ9 with an US ECWCS jacket over the top, perfect. I like the layering cause when the outer gets wet you can take it off and still be warm but not be sat in wet jacket for hours. I can also confirm the SJs are definitely not waterproof!

thats all i use , i use the snug pack army mk1 softie and the german army goretex as its alot thicker than my british army goretex, and a thick wool jumper, i still get cold alittle , but its the best combo i can come upwith

had the flac tarn years its all i use, its very good and strong and when the zipp fail they can click back in ,much better than my 2 british dpm goretex i had before, the flac tarn outer layer does wet out easy, it doesnt really bead well,, and gets a little more heavy like this when wet, but its strong, its goretex base layer is the sweet spot,its 100% waterproof even after prolonged downpour, i have had mine from a new sealed pack, and used it in really bad weather, work partys, allotment etc,

German flectarn for me as well.. performs and cheap as chips.
