In reply to Post #1 I think most builders use rub ons plenty a valuable on eBay as did a couple myself, they are not traditional stickers as would imagine resin mucks about with the plastic

In reply to Post #1 if forever rods, get them to a rod builder and it will take them 20 mins and 1 night of drying on their rotating rack. Wont be expensive and the finish will be immaculate
applying the epoxys you'd need without a rod turner (for application of the epoxys and to dry them level) will lead to you having to take it to a rod builder to get it re-done

Need to pick the brains of the collective CF brain 😀
I have purchased some vinyl sitckers with names on that I want to put on my rods, the adhesive is ok but it won't last that long.
What varnish/epoxy or other material do I need to put over them to stop them from peeling off?
Before anyone says I shouldn't do it, these are my forever rods and the names are of really close friends I have lost and I want to remember them by ❤️
