I think you can get BC copies, second prints not originals off Temu for £1 each delivered. All of them except for Vol 3 #16. Says sold out (last updated recently) buts it on Ebay with some geezer with a reserve of £250 but you'll probably get it with a near offer. Good luck.

Was just reading the etiquette thread which whilst making me not miss my fishing so much cos I do then to see a thread like this one with so much care and trying to help others is a total joy.

Well done you good guys out there but especially the ones who were able to help this chap.
😀👏👏👍

If you don't find it give me a PM, I have every BC magazine up to around 2005 I think it was...and Jeff has already checked lots of them.
I can't check now as they're at another property, but I may go there at the weekend

Thank you so much for looking mate, I'm sure it would have been around that time as I believe he caught the fish in the September. Potentially it was a different magazine or similar, I will have to see if I can find anything more out.

Thanks again though, appreciate you taking the time to do that.

I looked through all the BC's from around that time and a lot more but I couldn't find one with Graham Peers included. Mainline tended to use the same usual suspects at the time in all their ads and not many others got a look in.

I found I didn't have Issue 15 which pissed me off a bit but after looking at the other mags I'd be amazed if he got into that one.

There was the odd issue where Mainline didn't take an ad.

Are you sure your dates are right?

There is in the App Store (apple) a big carp app

Download it and it gives you a free magazine download but not sure if the early ones are on there.

If you do Facebook. Might be worth an ask on the " Old school carp society " page. I'm sure some of the fellas on there will be able to help you out.

After Vol 2 issue 12, Maylin stopped dating Big Carp Covers. That was Dec/Jan 1992/93. I've got all the mags from that period. What was your Dad's name and I'll look at the mags and see if I can find him.
