Didn’t they do this on harefield or one of those lakes back in the days of the yahoo crew

Saw this. It’s during a match. Assuming it’s due to bars and the speed they want to get the fish in.

Now I had a few ciders last night, so this could have been a really bad dream.

But I'm sure I saw some YouTube melt running up a set of step ladders to play a fish whilst his mate landed it.

Is this really a thing? Please tell me it was just a bad dream
