Yep I’ve seen some very cheap batteries from Temu and aliexpress, the manufacturers most of the time Chinese, nothing wrong with that though they use cheap third party cells which are often of low quality ,they add BMS to them etc but it’s all about the quality off the cells in the pack.

Stick to a reputable supplier, don’t buy cheap and burn your house down/ and potentially worse.

A few folk in the UK have sadly died in house fires in the UK from e-bikes.

I've just had a random post come up from RCKicks facebook page showing a house pretty much burnt out due to a Lipo battery fire.
If you're using or thinking of using them do your research and learn how to charge and store them safely.
