In reply to Post #8 Cheers for them Rich, I had seen both but struggled getting clear info to confirm fully inflatable.
Some more digging shows the Nash as a good option, although both are very expensive. I haven't properly seen the raptor packed down, but suspecting it'll be chunky as it looks like a smaller boat with nice thick material.
A good starting point, if only the Nash wasn't so expensive, i mean, compared to others it has a memory foam filled mat LESS but the price didn't know
Cheers

In reply to Post #1 This is something I have been looking for, just bought a scope sling mat which is pretty small for its size but not fully inflatable
I was wanting one that is basically just flat so I could roll it up small and keep it in my van. Self inflating ones that I looked at are not that small
If you find anything, please share

In reply to Post #2 I'm currently looking at kids travel beds, 30 quid is cheap enough for testing
Self inflating mats will still have foam in, it's the foam that makes them inflate, or not if it's rubbish foam. This is the same theory as SIMs for bedchairs

In reply to Post #1 I have a korum one that’s self inflating base
It rolls up into around 4”
It’s ages old though
Aqua did do a self inflating mat also in the atom range
Might still be able to find one kicking around
I bought one in the last year or so.

Hi all
Are any of the inflatable unhooking mats actually fully inflatable, no foam bottom mat?
Not sure if I've missed something obvious but with the quality of materials these days, surely the base of the mat could be inflatable without foam? Would certainly make them a whole load more compact for transporting.
Edit, and replaceable if needed for the bottom mat
