The link below is active and I have to say I'm not particularly impressed with it.
It doesn't get going until 4.45, 5.45 is a bit more interesting, but in the whole 11 odd minutes only 1 picture of terrain mapping. I expected to see vegetation images and a side by side of the improvements v the older Chirp.

Chirp+4. In a nutshell it seems to be AI, vegetation mapping , bottom hardness, camo paint job. They already use algorithms for the other Deeper products, to me the AI spin is just improving those really.

Maybe going to have some sort of live view like the lowrance active target or Garmin live scope.
Not sure if they could get the technology to do that yet.

In reply to Post #2 I hope so, would side scanning be a step too far as well? About time portable sonars caught up with in boat sonars, I've banged on for ages about not being restricted to having to have 2, 1 in boat and one out.

Just got a e-mail from Deeper this morn saying, big reveal 27th Feb
Revealing the next generation.
We're introdiucing never seen before technological developments into the world of castable sonar.
Should be interesting
