Nice!

Abu Cardinal 55s were more my generation retro - I had poor mans (boy at the time) Mitchell 2250RDs instead!

No just very well looked after originals. Got 4 of them. Awesomely engineered reels that are built like tanks. Brass worm drive gears and double bail springs and rear drag.👍

For general coarse fishing the 33's and 44's were popular so these tend to be in poorer condition. The 66's and 77's tended to be used by game anglers on the big Scottish Lochs or Irish loughs and weren't as popular but seemed to survive better. They are also salt water resistant for sea fishing/ spinning.

Last and biggest of the metal bodied range before plastic ones took over.👍

Nice try but - minus style points for

1 - No need for that elevation on a canal
2 - Pegs should be Jag titanium
3 - Stock reel handles really need replacing

That lhs handle's really letting you down, never mind the elastic band hair bobble things

Some great setups on here.

I think the site will need rebranding to CarpTarts.co.uk
