cook the amount you need for your trip, i've always found frozen defrosted particles are never as good as when they are when fresh

the same applies to peanuts, cook, cool, drain and freeze in smallish amounts- couple of pop-up tubs worth.
Take some out and cool quickly if you want some harder baits for the hair as they will continue to soften up.
They go quite sticky and go off quickly during the summer I kept the hookbaits in hemp water..along with a couple of boilies.

Really don't need many, I used to add a tub to a 20L bucket of hemp & conditioner.
The fish would find them and keep searching,

How long will they last without freezing? Or if adding salt to them how long will they last roughly?

No they'll go off. Options already mentioned and also salt & sugar, ie salty sweet.

After preparing and cooking peanuts, what's the best way to keep and store them? Do you keep them in the water you cooked them in? Thanks.
