I also like the Wolf spods, but the cheap ones off Ali Express are very good too, always open and unlike the Wolf ones the magnets don't seem to come out ! Think there called B52 or similar.

I use the double loop method found it the easiest way. The wolf spod might have a problem opening with corn and maggots i have had problems with them not opening with light bait. Filling them with water for extra weight sometimes helps but I have tried all spods the wolf ones are the best.

I've tried both over the years. A beefy sea fishing quick link, and the double loop option.

I just use the double loop now, as its easier and more versatile.

Tie a big loop 4”
then a small loop 1” on the end.
It will pull up tight on the big loop and leave the small loop
Then pull on the small loop to open it up

Seen that method before but never really found I needed to do it Tbh, it's easy enough without the extra loop

Also tie a short lenght of braid on the braid forming the loop. Then hold the braid and pull the short length to the bottom of the loop cut the two tags so only 1/2inch long. To change spombs a little tug on the tags and it's easy to change them

I use the bank tackle hook link clips and just put a buffer sleeve over them

Just tie a big loop in the end of your braid, and just loop them on. No need to tie anything then

I use a couple of different types and sizes of spods
Anyone got something to be able to quick change
the spods without having to retie each change
There must be some sort of clip?
