In reply to Post #2 +1, high value items may need to be stipulated as framey has said. Our insurers just wanted to know potential other value as it came under sporting goods iirc. Also make sure you're covered away from the house and if kept in a garage some insurers say it can't be more than a certain distance from your house if on the same site.

I did a pole as named item years ago
Other option is just keep the receipt in a box and take photos

I just added all my fishing gear to my house insurance

Anyone know if a company offers specific tackle insurance against theft...
Never been done but just to be safe.
