In reply to Post #6 No I mean the Mk1 (non memory foam) TBF not sure whether the 'new' cheaper Dura core variant is the same bedchair - I do know its 'only' 800mm wide in standard size (which is smaller than the new 900mm standard) and the legs are slightly shorter . . .cannot imagine the Fortis Standard fits the new Mk2 as its a 'tailored' fit on my mk1 with zero overhang anywhere . . .

Solar bed chairs - in a league off their own. With a separate, non sleep system, bag & over cover.

In reply to Post #7 Keep a check on the seams where the hoods are stitched into the bag.

I have the solar spc tech mk2 standard bedchair and have no problems using my standard size fortis tech lite bag with it. All fits fine.

In reply to Post #1 Like the look of the new solar but its pretty high / wide so wont work with my Fortis Bag or Transformer Chair . . . sticking with my lighter, narrower but still comfy mk1 Solar SP C Tech for the time being!

You can't go wrong with the new Solar bed chairs. I changed a few years ago as I hate the sagging you get over time with bed chairs. Never had this with the Solar one. I also prefer a normal bag and bed chair combo - definitely warmer than the sleep systems.

I've decided to ditch my sleep system so reverting back to a bedchair / separate sleeping bag.
I havent bought anything for a long time so wondered if I could get some recommendations to look at. Plenty of Black Friday deals at the moment.
Cheers
