Lived round the corner from it as a kid. Used to get my maggots from there when Roger first opened. Still pop in there every now and then for a few bits.

A gem of a shop, didn’t know that they did mail order but definitely worth popping in if you are in the area.

In reply to Post #1 Good shop that. One of the few shops remaining in South London. So much stock crammed into such a tiny space. No real POS so you have to really search for stuff. Which means you are always coming across stuff you don't really need but as usual have to buy. A tackleshop like they used to be. The big players are far to clinical. Not surprised you found what you was looking for.

Many of you will know what it’s like.
You want a specific item of kit. It may be discontinued, the firms no longer trading or for some reason the item is like rocking horse droppings.
You start off hopeful, but as time goes on you realise it isn’t going to be easy. The bit you’re looking for isn’t out there. Searching t’interweb reveals lots of shops, dealers, auction sites have one but when you go on their website it’s either out of stock or the advert is 10 years old.
Then……you see one advertised on a website you’ve never used or heard of before. It says in stock 😲…..so you take a punt. It takes your money🤞🤞…… but really in your heart you are expecting an email saying webpage hasn’t been updated and they offer you a ****ing
Refund 🤬🤬🤬****ing annoying! But so far no email….no wait ones just popped up saying out for delivery…yeh…believe it when I see it.
So ordered late Wed, confirmed postage Thurs afternoon, arrived this morning.
I did see one for sale in Germany - £140, plus 20% VAT plus £54 postage making it over £200.
However …. Cheam Angling - £54 plus p&p and arrived within 36 hours.
Well done Cheam Angling Ltd 👏👏👏👏 Spot on! Great service.
