I also would suggest a neutral ‘floating’ braid with leader!

Not sure you want a sinking braid if the bottom is full of snags. I would suggest a neutral braid like power pro in 0.36 or 0.41 if it’s really rough out there.

As per title, what do you suggest for a sinking braid for mainline. ?
I talking heavy duty, 40-50 lbs test, for some snaggy lakes here in the U.S.
Anglers after Crappie ( Sac a Lait here in Louisiana ) drop random brush piles, bushes etc. as fish attractors and leave them in place, so you often find yourself having to extract Carp and/or tackle frok them.
