Sounds like an interesting read, some decent minds involved, will no doubt order a copy when I'm back home.

Cheers Bob

Just re-entered the world of making baits from scratch so hoping there is lots of information on building your own base mix

Yes mate some are, there's also the discovery of particles, stories from Derek Stritton on Fred Wilton - to be honest there's loads of history throughout the book.....

Ah very good

I'm away for the weekend aswell so hoping it arrives before I go

What are some of the chapters from the old school pioneers about? The history of how they developed certain baits?

Mine arrived today.

I've only skimmed it as I'm working - but as with the other BCSG books, its a very high quality publishing.

From a skim there's mostly new content but a few articles or interviews from other publishings. It looks to be a good mix of pieces the old school bait pioneers and also some of the newer school thinkers.

I'm on hols abroad next week - this will be coming, significantly adding to the baggage weight allowance and I'll enjoy the read.

Well batted sir.... You would have been a great politician Paul

In all seriousness, I know you don't want to be involved, and I also understand exactly why now regarding this book... I've never spoken about it. But they are gone now.

But I'll also reiterate mate... I am involved....That's my life in carp fishing over & over again. That's my business. That's why I get angry about it. That's exactly why I cannot speak about nothing whatsoever publicly. They maybe gone, there's 100's more even worse now though! A lot that I was already speaking about in this thread before, sort of cryptically... How ironic that you then pop up who was involved in warning me ten or eleven years ago about a big one! Life has a funny way of showing this stuff out in the open eventually. I had no clue that was you.

On RMC I also wrote extensively about there being five 'Key's' to carp bait. Five Key's that all unlock certain things. How ironic they then called that bait that.

I will shut up. Anyone gets lemon with you Paul, direct them to me & tell them to bring £50k along with them.
