I've just re-read the original post and I'm leading you on a wild goose chase. The pin is in the head of the bank sticks that the bars fit to..... but it's the bars themselves you're struggling with.

Just ignore me mate.

Sorry!

I can’t seem to remove the thumb screw, it loosens but then stops. Is there a trick to remove it?

There is a pin behind the thumbscrew that locks the titanium sleeve/head in place Phil. Can you tell if the pin is still there?

Hi all,

I have some 3 rod adjustable buzz bars from MPE tackle (no longer trading)

They’ve seen a fair bit of use and have been kicked/tripped over a fair few times (not me guv honest)

They’ve started to come loose/twist where the extendable bits come out oof that makes sense. I.e a bit that’s supposed to be solid now twists with a bit of force.

Does anyone know where/who might be able to fettle them for me? It’s all lovely gear so I’d like to keep using it.

Cheers
