You can also buy goal post convertors which can change a central single thread buzz bar to 2 outer threads

I've got a Jag super compact pod which when I'm using two rods I slide the bank sticks with the alarms into the 4 holes of the pod base.

If I'm using three rods, I've got a pair of Jag adjustable 3 rod snag buzz bars.

The snag buzz bars have a centre thread under the central alarm so I could use one stick straight into the ground.

But, they also have two threads underneath the left and right outer alarm locations so I can drop them into the pod base or straight into the ground as a goal post setup if I wanted.

I think quite a few brands offer buzz bars with three threads now, so you can use one or two sticks or drop into a suitable pod base depending on the situation.

Hi all
Always used a pod, thinking about moving with the times a bit now.

The whole Goalpost thing seems a neat and sturdy option, Who makes good stainless gear and how do you configure 2 vertical bank sticks (When a Buzz bar has only one thread..)

Sorry.... but I'm old enough to remember a night fishing with a sun lounger.
When a sounder box needed to have wires running over your swim
When we fished with an open bale arm and a 50p on the spool over a tin tray...

YES that old...
