When I spoke to spydertech they said the blue has side screen but doesn't show the hardness or softness of the lakebed like the red does which i thought was a bit odd.

I'll definitely give that a look though. Is the red techadvision better than the sonar on the deeper?

Leigh SD at SE BBoats supplies and fits TechAdvision - Red is currently available (similar to DragonFly) and Blue (similar to Elements) available in Oct I think; much smaller components than RM and therefore easy to install - I think Blue does everything Red does with the addition of side-scan? ND2 is still a valid investment if you want to 'pimp' with better sonar as like XBoats they are easy to fiddle with . . .

I could only find sypdertech that dealt with the techadvision stuff but they said they only fitted them to the x boats

The red techadvision the cheaper one would be the one for me as that shows hardness os the lake bed the blue doesn't. I just don't know where I'd get the techadvision red fitted to the nd3 boat

Just brought a quest matt. Better than the nd boats just sold mine.
Its a lot more money but there's a lot of boat for the money. Be better customer service. They pay for the post of the boat if it needs to go back lots of benefits

Smaller X Boat sounds very interesting. I was considering the Quest to replace my ND2 but will hold fire for a bit!

A smaller toslon sounds good. The current one is huge.

A fully unlocked ND2 with ND Sonar and range extender is cheaper than a Quest . . .

And if you're willing to negate warranty, a pimped ND2 (with autopilot unlocked) and Raymarine / TechAdvision Red or Blue Sonar with Voltmeter / Hopper lights fitted etc is still cheaper than a Quest . . . also Tri Hull (more stable) / takes loads of aftermarket accessories (ie bait spreaders / cams) and doesn't require in-situ charging - maybe one to consider?

I've heard on the grapevine Toslon are bringing out a new 'smaller' boat imminently . . . if it has the reliability of the XBoat (but not the enormous size) it may be worth the wait . .

Look at stealthcam. They do the Vortex spreader for deeper boats. They are excellent I have one for my RT7 really good. Strongest motor on any of the spreaders I have seen with remote function.

They can spread 250 x 15mm boilies 5ft+ from your boat. You can make that less by deciding the strength of the motor.

Its a custom made one from a guy here in Germany. 3D printed, 2 spreaders, one left, one right with enough space left for about 2kg of bait extra. Works up to 400m and works Like a charm. Good price as well.
Only thing missing now is one of those remote underwater cameras....

Where do you get the spreader from for the deeper? Can you fit it to the boat yourself?

Had Boatmans and then the Deeper Quest because a friend had it and it was totally gobsmacked about how efficient, fast and handy it is.

The batteries last forever. I only do short overnighters but fish rather long range up to and over 200m with it so it gets some km's.

I get several weeks out of the batteries before I have to charge it again.
Capacity is more than enough. I have had a custom remote controlled bait sling or what you call it so I can have a better spread.

The echosounder is more than enough for my purposes.
You can make depth maps and the app is incredibly simple and well made.
Adding navigation points is more than easy and they are limitless.

All in all its my dream baitboat and cant fault anything on it so far.
I cant see myself ever selling it.

That it comes with a really good rucksack is also a great bonus.
