Hinders do small pots of tigers in betalin for hookbaits, had lots of fish on these in the past , the basic betalin and almond betalin ones. They last for years in betalin .

I've caught using Dynamite Jumbos, 2 wafted with a piece of cork between them.

They come in a small pot with plenty of liquid that has kept them fresh.

Personally I'd do what the guys say, split & freeze. If not a option and only using as hookbaits you could add a load of salt, maybe even some sugar.

I’ve found in the past the monster jars go off fairly quickly. Best thing to do is split in to small amounts that you want to use and freeze them.

If only for hookbaits
Take a few out and put them In an old pop up pot and freeze the rest
Give them a shake every now and again and they mostly wont stick together.
