+1 on the fantail. It's an excellent pod. I'm a big fan of the spacing it gives me between my rods. You customise it to be the same footprint as a traditional goalpost, but I normally just leave it on the widest config.

Plus being titanium it's all but bombproof while still being impressively light

Here you go - being inserted into a concrete path, using a proper ratchet (A Tommy Bar could not possible cope with such torque, top would sheer clean off!)

Ahh ok, the digging stick.
If only the Ti auger point banksticks had one.
In my opinion, the Xcavator wins, a bankswith a Tommy bar.

There are pics on the website buddy - under 'Accessories' you'll see the 'Defiant Digging Stick'. The tommy bar is stored in the main shaft of the stick.

Any pics Yonny? There's no Tommy bar on the website.
If they do I might well be ordering some.

+1 for Jag Excavator - tommy bar and palm saver (with spirit level) makes life easy and accurate. Augers are sharp - I use rubber walking stick ends (available on Amazon) to protect them in transit as they can shred luggage if not careful . .

Defiant are lovely but not as good in use as the Xcavators.
There's no Tommy bar with the Defiant stick so actually screwing into anything isn't the easiest to do.

JAG Excavator.

I was so impressed with the korda distance stick augers that I got a complete set of excavators. They aren't cheap but they go into anything with ease!

JAG Excavator are the best that I have used. Nothing else comes close (including their digging stick).

Hi mate if you pm me your number I can WhatsApp you pictures. I can't work out how to post them on here. Just collected the banksticks they are superb and look very robust whilst being incredibly light. You can tell they are handmade which I really like too. I can see myself ordering some longer ones in future.
