In reply to Post #1 Line the rollers up so the left matches the right reel. Then tighten the screw fully.
Then bend the bail arm back into position.
I have seen this before in reels... can be done in transportation especially in quivers where the reel are sticking out or really tight rod holdalls

Just bend it back.
If you take it off and a non bent one bend it back with some pliers to be the same shape.
Yep happens in transport

On the left reel exactly where the thread of the main shaft is pointing, it looks? like theres an extra bend that shouldnt be there.
Been bent in transport maybe ??

I have three newish reels I’ve been using for a few weeks. Okuma obsidian. On use today I noticed one of the bail arms seems lower than the other two reels. See pic

The one of the left. I can loose the screw to move it up but this would mean the roller isn’t in the same position as the other two reels and doesn’t seem aligned. Anyone got any ideas?
