In reply to Post #16 More reliable than Delkims
Always good to do a little tinkering and make a DIY repair rather than buy new just because you can.

In reply to Post #13 I noticed a small leak on the Bulin T4 braided hose right next to where its crimped onto the stove inlet.
This is where the hose starts to coil up when packing it away, cheapo china rubber!
I used a junior hacksaw to make a couple of cuts on the crimp then levered it off, much easier than I'd imagined.
I put a couple of wraps of electrical tape just past the crimp and used the saw to cut through the baided sheathing and rubber hose. The tape is essential to stop the braid unravelling.
I found some thick heatshrink I had and replaced the electrical tape with the heat shrink, and trimmed a few protruding wires flush.
I had forgotten about the clips mentioned previously (1/4" Double ear O ring clamps) so sourced a 7-9mm fuel hose clip and it worked great.

In reply to Post #12 That's great info.
I'd seen these 1/4” Double ear O ring clamps before on other gas fittings on camping stove and bbqs but had no idea what they were called.

In reply to Post #1 I got a couple from Amazon, around £8 each. Cut the crimp off the old stove, the new ones came with thread at the stove end, cut this off with side cutters, add a short length of shrink tube to stop the wires catching etc. I then used some 1/4” Double ear O ring clamps and crimped these over the stove inlet. Worked a treat

In reply to Post #10 Same happened to mine, bought a new stove, I did contemplate a repair but thought it was too dangerous to take a risk !

In reply to Post #7 If mine started leaking I'd get the crimped section off, end cutters and junior hacksaw, then find find some suitable tubing.

In reply to Post #6 Hi that's it, it's like crimped but if you pull it does come off and it's a push on connector fitment. What a pain, loads of screw replacement hoses but just not the push over type.

Just looked online at the price of a T4 these days. They've gone up a bit.
Think I paid about 22 quid for mine about 5 years ago. £35 was the cheapest I found. Might be worth trying to source a replacements pipe at that price..

In reply to Post #1 Just checked my bulin and the hose end looks like a push fit thats then crimped on.
Not sure if it's replaceable like for like. You could use a rubber hose and fit a terry clip, and a gas can adaptor fitting at the other end.
