The guy said they had been discontinued hence me making my own as a trakker one similar to the one I’m making is £50+ and the bits I’ve bought come to less than a score.

Is it completely discontinued or will there be a revised one coming out?

Was in Johnson Ross today and the issue is with the join/thread on the pole, emailed Korda who told me it has been discontinued. Shame as I used one at Gigantica and liked it, I am currently making my own using an old landing net pole and a ‘crook’ purchased from the tackle box.

I've got one. Not heard anything about a recall and can't see why either? It is a pole that screws together with a spike at one end and a Carabiner at the other...

That's a bit poor from Korda as I contacted numerous retailers as really wanted one and all of them were waiting on stock, no mention of a recall or any issues (this was beginning to middle of last year).

Edit end of year as initially told discontinued until this thread popped up when I called back around, losing track of time as I get older!

In reality there should be quite a lot of recalls in the tackle industry as quite a lot of it is not fit for purpose but they never recall anything as they couldnt care less

There is a new one in development, they were not happy with the original version. They did do a recall on them, you could return them and get a full refund if you wanted.I only found out a few weeks ago about it in my local shop

I was also searching for one of these as I was impressed when I seen one on the bank but as previously said they're nowhere to be found other than the odd one popping up on eBay for ridiculous sums.
Well sent an email to korda who never replied after a few weeks, however I called them and the original compac weigh staff is discontinued but new improved version currently going through testing at the moment and expected to be released later in the year or early next year.

I've got one of these, they are nice bits of kit but even the £60 was hard to justify, let alone these prices

They are solid and do the job well (quite heavy though), good for stashing in a shorter holdall.

£245 all in, absolute madness!!!
