The fact that they were selling 5kg of bait for twenty quid should tell you everything you need to know.
Use a better quality bait and use less of it would be my advice.

I buy their bait (whatever’s on sale) purely to prebait the river, and bulk out my feed. I don’t particularly rate it, but it’s done me ok to establish a few feeding spots. I’d probably rather use less, but a higher quality bait.

Bio marine long gone early last year..
It's still catching me carp... Until I run out..
Better bait than the price reflected..

In reply to Post #1 In my humble opinion (& I don't mean to come across as arrogant or condescending), I would go with a more established bait company & feed less of a higher quality boilie - IF your on a budget. Chops are a great way of making your bait go further for example.
I have no experience of Munch but I've seen the prices in the past which would indicate that it's perhaps not that great standard.
I'm happy to be proved wrong though!
