When charging lithium batteries you need to use a balanced charger
The iMax B6 charger is pretty good though beware of fake ones, buy from a reputable/ traceable reseller like Amazon
The last thing you want is them catching fire.
For bait boats and barrows they are quite high capacity do not charge overnight/ do unsupervised - if you do don’t do it in the house. We’ve all heard about e-bikes catching fire and in some cases folk perishing not pleasant.
Always when not in use store in a fire proof case,
“Lithium batteries require a balanced charger because the individual cells within a battery pack can have slightly different voltages and states of charge, leading to uneven charging and discharging. A balanced charger ensures each cell is charged and discharged evenly, which is crucial for maximizing the battery's overall performance, capacity, and lifespan, while also preventing damage from overcharging or over-discharging individual cells.”

In reply to Post #7 Can't argue with that, they are one of the best makes out there for the charging / maintaining.
Possibly overkill for a cheap ish smaller battery but it gives added piece of mind.

In reply to Post #1 I have quite a few Ctek chargers for different applications from Campervan to race car with a mixtures of lead acid, AGM and Lithium batteries to cover! Despite years of abuse, including running over one with the van, they all still just work. They are what I call 'boring' in that you plug them in and can forget about them whilst they do the job.
If your budget can stretch to it something like the CT5 Powersport from them would look after your battery and keep it in top condition. They can be left plugged in at all times with no risk to the battery so you are always ready to go full charged. You also get a 5 year warranty on them as standard, not that I have ever needed the warranty. They are about £70 from places like Amazon, Halfords etc.
Cheap chargers are not proper multistage and thus reduce the life of your expensive battery. A decent charger will get the most out of your batteries

In reply to Post #5 Both chargers i got from them have status led on them, but I did read of others after getting mixed results. For the price they charge for the charger I'd look elsewhere now.
Jeffe - noco are fairly well regarded as are ecoworthy.

In reply to Post #2 Hi, i bought 2 12v 12amp LifePo4 from BatteryMasters, both with chargers.
Unfortunately the chargers had no charging LED on them.
Contacted them, they said use a Multimeter.
To cut a long story short, sent one charger back & they sent me a charger with a charging LED on it.

In reply to Post #2 You are correct about the price when everybody was buying on here they were 60 odd pounds with charger. Can you use a 12v 12ah battery as they come with charger for £80 on eBay

In reply to Post #1 If you look on battery masters they normally have options of the battery and charger with it, like
LINKY POO™ https://batterymasters.co.uk/slaumxli10-12-battery.html
Can probably find cheaper though as i got my 10ah lifepo4 from them with charger for around £55 via ebay on a code a few years back but I know prices have jumped since.
Edit - i got one of these recently for a friend as it does lifepo4 charging at 10ah so would charge your battery in around an hour at its maximum charging rate if the same spec as the battery in the above link.
LINKY POO™ https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0DBJ736RK?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Lower amp chargers can be cheaper than this example.

I've done a search and read a few threads regarding switching to lithium batteries on a power barrow.. I'd be grateful if those of you familiar with this stuff could confirm a couple of things for me please before I go ahead with a purchase.
Firstly, I need to buy Ultramax Lithium 10A / 12V LifePO4 batteries.
I need to buy a 3A / 12V charger with LED functionality but what brand please? I've been struggling to find something.
Thanks in advance for your help.
