I do the same ferry crossing. Far easier, especially with kids!

I get the overnight ferry to Caen, arrives about 6.30am. Getting too old for a long overnight drive

1 stop
Those days are long gone for us, always make sure the brew gear is accessible at the side door....not boot because everything will try and fall out

Used to drive it from Manchester and both my friend and my wife have nodded off while in convoy driving...scary...so always have a break now!

It was a good session and a hard session bait boat batteries decided it was time to start giving up had to charge the boat over night from 11-5am get boat out the. It would die and would put back on 11-5pm the. It would die most off the bites was morning till 10 then From 6-11 then It would just switch off completely over night

Found as the week went on the more the bait went in the more the bites came done 20kg of boilie 25kg of pellets an 30kg of spod mix so they we’re getting over 10kg a day

They did say to me at Easter that the lakes often fish their best when it's hottest, which surprised me at the time, but clearly they know their lakes. Good to have a decent nights kips when you're catching that many fish during the day!

Can't comment on the venue as never been but don't worry about bait on the tunnel, I've never had an issue or heard of anyone else having trouble

It's taken them a while to roll that out fully. Gone are the days of trying to reach, seat belt off, f**k still can't reach, run round the other side...beep beep, sacrebleu

Emovis Tag - a must have really, brilliant bit of kit, especially if travelling alone and in a right-hand-drive car.

I was going to ask if you'll be using the peage tolls, prompted me to check my spelling then read this about free flow lanes, didn't know that! I know you can get the tag thing.

Edit, Thanks MW
