In reply to Post #1 Trent will be used more as they promote more whereas Daves is a bit more localised and hes more low key.
Get samples from each is best bet. Doubt go wrong with either. Just go with who gives you the better deals, confidence and turnaround on delivery. Post can push up costs.

Use Trent shrimp religiously but last autumn placed an order for both shrimp and squid just to give it a go. Bought matching pop ups with the glaze.. it has a powerful scent akin to solar S&O. I had just as many bites on squid as I did on shrimp. Now I use just shrimp but with both pop ups over the top. Quality bait but shrimp is still king in my eyes

In reply to Post #1 I have used mallins bait around 6/7 years ago I had my PB carp from my local canal using it,he is local to me and bought some bait down as I had a subscription to big carp magazine at the time and he told me there was a few 30’s in that stretch because he has a lot of catch reports sent to him, well few months later I had a 32 out of that stretch along with a few low doubles,my brother likes using the liquorice oil they use(well that was the smell giving off it)and a few lakes he had loads of fish on the pole after dipping his hook baits in it.
He’s a really nice guy too he had the biggest carp out of wednesbury/walsall area few years ago at 42lb(around that weight) because it was on his face book page and ESP’s too I think and he’s a nice guy too

In reply to Post #1 Can't comment on mallins but use shrimp and squid from Trent and love them both.

Has anyone used either trent baits squid boilies or Dave Mallins squid boilies? If so how do they compare ? Which one seems the better put together bait?
