I bought some immaculate second hand basias that came with the Weston folding handles, I like them and haven’t put the original handles back on. There is a tiny bit of play as has been mentioned but the smaller handle and feel suits me as I’m not fishing much over 100yds with them.
Would I pay £200+ for three?? I probably wouldn’t have, but having now used them for a few months, it’s hard not to recommend.

Thanks guys, that's saved me loads of money. I don't want them if they wobble!

I agree with the last comment.

Even the Weston handles do have a slight wobble due to the folding mechanism compared to the solid wind of the basis handle I would stick with the later TBH

Personally think they are the opposite of fancy and make them look cheap. The machined alloy handle they come with is much nicer but each to their own.

Good evening everyone, I have just got some basias and feel like being fancy and getting some folding handles, are the weston developments ones good or just expensive? Are there any isssues with folding handles or are they just as good as normal ones. I dont fancy spending a load of money on something rubbish.
