In reply to Post #5 Contact ridge monkey, i dropped one of my handles on the floor and it snapped where the realise button was.
I sent them an email asking if i could buy a new handle and they sent 2 out for free.

In reply to Post #4 Just a update on this, returning from a week's camping and I have to say the handles on our xl toastie are getting looser. I'm thinking a couple of spacers may be required to tighten it up a bit.

In reply to Post #2 Thanks for the info. Good to see they've upped their game. My original one was rubbish.
Do the connect handles stay nice and secure or do they go loose after a while?
thanks

Mr Mrs bought the Granite range for camping but ended up using them at home too. The deep pan doesn't get used regularly but the sandwich toaster is probably used twice a week, every week, and after 2 years the coating is just like new. The combi pan is used once a week and is much the same.
The coating is typical granite/ceramic, stuff can stick, especially if used dry, but give it a soak and it'll come off.

Hi all,
I used to have one of the older Ridge Monkey sandwich toasters but binned it after not many uses as the non-stick surface kept peeling off in little bits. I see they now do a granite surface one. Are these any good at non-stickiness and how long does the surface last? If anyone has one and can vouch for it I'll get one as I miss the old toasted sarnies on the bank.
thanks
